Which GFX should we go for now, i see performance wise all almost on par
the 980 being less power hungry...

or maybe wait for a 980Ti if it does appear. i got a feeling Nvida is just holding out their card to see what AMD have up their sleeves...

970 does give you a good $300+ cheaper then 980

SLI 2 970? that would be about $100 more expensive then the 980 <- can this card to it?

The performance gap between 970 and 980 aint much and yet the price difference is hell a lot.

Like tlkchew said, u SLI 2x 970 only around $1xx more ex than 980 and yet much much better performance than 980..

I second GTX 970 as well. Not that 980 is not great, but rather the price dif is quite substantial. I believe 970 pretty much offers performance around the older flagship, GTX 780Ti, draws less power and at a more sanely price tag. ;)

The best right now for performance and power is GeForce GTX 980, no question, and it’s new.
Else, Titan Z also just price dropped, but still expensive compared to GeForce GTX 980.
780Ti EOL already , but NVIDIA was offering heavy discount last month just before EOL, so if can find in the market, still a good buy.
No road map for 980Ti, so should not plan for it.

Hard to convince myself to get 980 over 970
