1440p to me seems to be the best place to be now without sacrificing FPS. I use 3440x1440 120Hz and games like BFV and COD4 are absolutely spectacular in terms of fluidity and graphic quality. Easily hovering around 100fps with everything maxed out. Good luck on your build!
