I was browsing lazada for fun, and I saw this zotac 980 ti going for even less than $900!

Is this a good buy?

I'm still stuck on my gtx670 (although it's still serving me well on my qnix monitor).

if u have the money why not... better then buying an amazon set. It would be a better deal if u bought during lazada birthday sale which have a 50bucks on hellopay.

well i would say they at least give u 5 years warranty (3+2) dunno which one is the longest but in total is 5 years.

Its quite ok lar. But, not sure if you really want to spend so much on a high end card when polaris/pascal is around the corner.

Polaris/Psacal will definitely be more expensive. At less than $900, ZOTAC GTX 980 Ti is a good buy. I believe the price drop for GTX 980 Ti after the launch of Polaris/Pascal will not be too much either.

I don't think there will be price drop for 980ti, more like phase out totally.

780ti was still around for some time when the 980 came into the markets.

Yes, next gen will be catered for VR gaming, esp. AMD. They are putting alot of effort into VR gaming.

I think VR gaming could be the next big thing.

i also believe so, after playing the samsung VR Gear for a while i think the possibilities are really very very huge....

in 2014 when maxwell was released people start to buy and used it and loved it....now in 2016 people start to wait for the newer card "pascal"....eager to buy and try it.....and next next year nvidia release much more newer card dono what name they going to call then......and so on and on non stop...nvidia making billion of dollar all along...nvidia know people got an itch to change to the newest and the latest gpu...i will just buy the old series gpu which fit my budget...as long as i play my game it is buttersmooth and still got support i am good enough for it
