at least this place is worthy with its close proximity to town..really close
many food, free cat 100 concerts, mrt, interchange
in 10-15yrs, 5rm is rare liaos

shifting to kallang now!!

not crazy for rich ppl who had previously stayed in landed or condo lor

they finally realised that maintaining such high end lifestyle not sustainable, faster wanna lower they COL
the property tax for landed is killer already....

The first million dollar flat was iirc 6 years ago. I met the young guy who bought it. It was located at Holland Road.

At that time ppl said he was crazy. Lawrence wong talked about lease will eventually end and worth nothing. Everyone hurray and said he is the messiah coming to cool the market.

Take a good look at the present situation. Where got cool. Those bukit ho swee flats with less than 50 years left still holding their value well. :o
like that Berlayar after MOP can sell 2 mil

My ex colleague damn heng got a bto in boon keng, location also good. Few mins walk to mrt exit, super convenient to commute to office in cbd, and iirc also got good pri sch nearby which the child managed to ballot in under proximity phase

Sorry. It just didn’t make sense. At that price, just top up abit go for private sua. Public housing at $1.55 mil is crazy.

at that location and size, with a similar remaining lease, please tell me which private property requires only a small top‑up

Kallang trivista is really one of the jskm to get. Still fresh 90 years lease for 5rm and no plh restriction. I will want to go there if I have the moolah.

All locations. If good locations can sell at very good prices, poor locations like in Jurong West or Changi can sell for 10-20% lower.
Means not huat, don't forget you have to factor in bank loan interest during your holding period, yes you may make some profits but not astronomical like those in town and the divergence in profits are growing between well located HDBs and those outlying HDBs exponentially.
