Hi programmers, i am known to eclipse programming on android.

My questions is, I would like to know if there is any product that acts like a miniature device that is able to fit into a shoe that is actually programmable?

Because i would like to control the device using my android phone, and vice-versa through a back-hand server.

p/s: The reason for a gprs/gsm device, is because I would like to actually "track" the person whereabouts (e.g. something like a google maps location) and send it back to my android device.

Then what you need would be a gps + gsm/gprs module. What dimensions are we talking about?

I have done several projects using gsm/gprs, the main concern is always the battery and connectivity...

If you want to track in real time then just buy Spark Nano 3.0 GPS Tracker, google it 1st link.

If that is not small enough for you, then anything custom build is going to be quite expensive...
