What options do I have if my A level exam results are bad?" Just trying to plan ahead. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. Retake A levels next year.
2. Go to poly.
3. Go to SIM and do a diploma course.

Easier to get into private uni, or you can opt for a degree course with a more relaxed selection criteria

If it's really that bad,

1. Try to get testimonials (and hopefully you're a school leader / national sports player) and apply the local uni courses with lower pre-requisites (and not business / accounting kind of courses)

2. There are poly courses that offer healthcare courses for A level grads.. (last year its requirements were quite low, they accepted Cs and Ds) These courses grant you a degree at the end of its study (note: but u have to be interested in healthcare to last long in this industry)

3. Go to private university (like me, lol) went to SIM-UOL for accounting and finance

4. retake As next year (not advisable, because usually students score equally bad and in my honest opinion I dont think it's actually worth the effort, because I'm interested in Finance - which doesnt require chem and physics in JC

Listen to the rest of the people who have posted here or google my ex-school Ngee Ann- Adelaide, study here go for exchange programme, pay local fees, keep quiet and laugh at all your friends paying double what you will pay at the end of it all :D

Jokes aside, please do your own research. Thorough research. 99% of the people on earth havent heard of A-levels, much less had a chance to do badly in them and guess what? They are still alive and kicking :s12:
