A server or Gamging desktop?

[Helphelp88]

Hi ,

Guys recently i read about server which i can purchase and host it at singtel to run all my marketing tools and was wondering is it worth it?

as i run wmware and a few other stuff at once and required a high ram desktop / server to keep it running for 24/6 , a day of resting.

i'm actually considering this spec my friend recommend me
1) I7 4790
2) Asrock 885M
3) 16GB Ram
4) 1TB Harddisk
5) Dvd Drive
6) Coolermaster 311/335u Case
7) TT 530w modular power

(No monitor / No keyboard / No mouse / No wifi adapter )
Simply just what he shows there.

he offered 1k for this and was wondering is it worth at this moment?

hope someone could give me some guidance and guide me out abit!

thanks!

i'm still deciding to place such a heavy fund on such stuff....
as server isn't cheap , so considering going for desktop to slowly explore it.

Depending on ur needs,u can just rent a dedicated server. No need so much upfront cost
