Travellers to Hangzhou (HGH) – Effective 7 January 2025

Effective 7 January 2025, foreign travellers arriving at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) must submit their Electronic Entry Card online using a QR code system. Travellers are required to submit the form before clearing immigration to receive a personal QR code for free printing at the self-service printing terminals in the immigration inspection area. No physical Entry Declaration cards are required.

Travellers to Chongqing (CKG) – Effective 1 January 2025

Effective 1 January 2025, foreign travellers arriving at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG) must submit their Electronic Entry Card online using a QR code system. Travellers are required to submit the form before clearing immigration to receive a personal QR code for free printing at the self-service terminals in the immigration area. No physical Entry Declaration cards will be distributed.

Travellers to Ningbo (NGB)

Ningbo Lishe International Airport Immigration has introduced an Online QR Form to streamline the arrival process and minimize the need for physical arrival cards. Foreign travellers are encouraged to complete the Online QR Form before proceeding to immigration clearance at Ningbo Lishe International Airport.

Physical Entry Declaration cards are still available for distribution especially for travellers who do not have access to mobile devices.

Stick to the paper submission or the terminal at the airport of your arrival.

If there's a queue, still have to queue to print the completed arrival card.

I always take a stack and complete them prior. Upon arrival, just go to the immigration counter.

I have never had the need to fill that in as a tourist. I fill in my destination address or hotel.

Tick No, hotel name is enough.
Currently only a few airports have the printing m/c, small airports manually fill up the card.

If have provide, otherwise providing your accomodation info in China will suffice.
Past experience they will just ask and verify, never got requested to show too, unlike Thailand etc. where there's times where officer will request to see.

Nope. Don't bother with online submissions, go right to arrival, fill in paperform and clear immigration quickly.

Saw the printer ran out of paper for the e-terminals. hand written is the way to go .

based on my understanding, the online arrival card is only supported for certain airport only.

those not supported still have to fill in the physical arrival card upon arrival, happen in my case when i visited Chengdu via Tianfu Airport.

that is correct. Xi'An has its own online form.
