I made 2 redemption reservation for the same destination but they are one day apart. Both were waitlisted at first. When one became avaible, I ticketed it. Now the other waitlist, my preferred flight, is also available. I have no more miles to ticket this one.

If I cancel the first booking, will the miles be creditted back in time before this second reservation expires? Any better way to do this?

Thanks.

Yes, call them to cancel the 1st booking, pay the redeposit fee and miles will be deposited instantaneously. While on the line, ask the agent to confirm your preferred flight.

Thanks, guys. Will try to call.

There is a redeposit fee? How much? Can't seem to find this info on their faq.

Fees

KrisFlyer Service Fees

If you go and try to search for your preferred flight online again and see that there is available seats, you can theorectically change your confirmed flight to your preferred flight for no charge.

But if the flight is not available online ( only available via waitlist, but reserved for you ), you need to cancel your ticket and redeposit the miles for USD$30 per ticket.

Then confirm your waitlist.

Best to do it online or go to ION Orchard SQ center to do it instantaneously.

Please do not cancel your ticket and incur the cancellation fees. If both tickets are under the same name, and same destination, date change is free, kindly call them and ask them to process as a date change.

Should be fine if you don't get routed to India Call Center. I've done it once with a first class redemption, where I needed 2 tickets on the same day. Booked one on one day, then two tickets opened up on the next day.

I have 2 separate ticketed redemptions on SQ biz class - one Singapore - London and Amsterdam-Singapore, now due to changes in itinerary, I need to move the dates one week back.

For Sin-Lon no problem, I can see there is available flight on Saver redemption, so I assume this can be a direct swap done online ?

For the Ams-Sin, the flights a week later are all waitlisted for Saver, so can I change to a different departure city with the same number of miles ? Rome to Singapore is the same number of miles, thought of switching to Rome-Sin to make sure I have a flight back from Europe and then wait and see if the Amsterdam flights become available later.

Is this allowed and doable online ?
