Hi all,
Personally I'm a newbie who keen for looking some financial investments. I had been attending seminars and website-study for some opportunities outthere and came by knowing about REITS, a 90% dividend investment.
Any comments about it? Recommendations? How do get a piece of it's share? It's the same as buying stocks , simply going thru stock brokers?

REITs are required to distribute at least 90% of taxable income each year to enjoy tax exempt status by IRAS (subject to certain conditions) .

he probably meant reits are supposed to pay out 90% of their earnings as div.

REITs are traded on SGX like any other stock. You can buy/sell using a stock broker.

Any recommended stock brokers which I can consider?
I had paid some attention in OCBC securities, SCB, and SAXO. SAXO is definitely more cheaper in terms of trading charges, but is it low risk enough to go for them since they are custodian operated?
