Is SEO about keywords mostly?

Do I also need a separate page for each studio for google search to work better? Lets say someone search a reputable studio, but my website won't be able to show up since I don't have any page referring to the studio name.

Yes, instead of putting all the links on the homepage, its better to have an individual page for each of the studio, all the links should put on the individual page as well.

fyi, keywords meta tag is already taken out from google, bing.etc, u may as well just remove it

The more unique details you can provide on your web pages, the better. Google crawls for rich content. Keep text as text and image as image. don't make text into images. Googlebots wouldnt understand those pixels.

Nowadays the meta tags only contribute to search engine rankings in an insignificant way coz of too much keywords spamming in the tags

i believe seo nowadays depend mostly on presence of social media and blogs as well as how well you are linked to by reputable websites.

Usually we have SEO "experts" launching into a 200 page book and sharing bits and pieces of what they do for SEO like more from personal experience than a complete understanding of SEO.

As it is, I believe search engine ranking algorithms are proprietary and confidential to prevent people from gaming them. And Google, Yahoo and Bing are not sharing full details how to best format and meta tag pages.

Theres no comprehensive list but a general rule of the thumb is that websites that have good frequently updated original stuff that will keep visitors going back again and again tend to rank better than the others. It will also help if more authority aka reputable sites link to your site.

i felt, SEO is a long run. need time to have it crawl through the whole cyber world. someone told me, just keep updating your site, add information. overtime, SEO engine will start to realise you and the SEO score will go up.
not too sure, how truth. I will just try. been doing it for 1 months and still "NO SOUND NO PICTURE"
