About tagging

If I post something then remember,aiya I forgot to tag someone,then I edit post to add the tag,will that person receive it,or will he not? It seems from one experience the person who wasn't tagged initially but edited in never received the tag at all

I received. But I also encountered tagging after posting via edit doesn't work.

yeah shd be lah cannot be spam notice 10 times right? just like u cc an emai a few times in an email by mistake but that receiver shd only receive once.
btw,does duplicate tags count against ur limit of 5 tags per post @AlmightyOnes ?
