Hi, just to check did anyone purchased from Xiaomi Global Official Store on Shopee/Lazada before? Are they selling authentic products? Can it claims the warranty from Xiaomi SG at Funan?

Yes, they are selling authentic Xiaomi products with local warranty. I think many had already bought stuff from them.

If I am not wrong Xiaomi has 2 official sellers in SG - Xiaomi Global Official Store on Shopee/Lazada and EIN. Both are eligible for local warranty.

I see. Thanks for the information coz I’m curious about their warranty. As there is no EN sticker on the packaging.

I think you're asking whether the phones sold by these online platforms are covered by local warranty, am I right? I don't think anyone sells fake Xiaomi phones... it's simply too expensive to fake mobile phones for sale...

I think Xiaomi is responsible for the confusing situation... apparently the items sold on the official shop on Shopee are eligible for local warranty... but it's not clear if it is the case for the store on the Lazada shop... case in point is the Mi Box S...

Ya... It's kind of confusing for the customers. There are 3 Xiaomi stores on Lazada/Shopee and all of the 3 stores are under Lazmall/Shopee Mall. All have different terms and conditions though.

Not all those stores are official stores... apparently Lazada and Shopee has no policy to prevent sellers from calling themselves official... and it might be simply the case where different sellers are authorized sellers for different products and just tag on other parallel items which are not official here... apparently the phones from the official Shopee store are all parallel imported items which Xiaomi honours local warranty... a very weird arrangement...

Yup, local warranty products, all my family's recent Xiaomi phones all bought from them. Brought my Poco F2 Pro to have software reflashed at Funan service centre, no issue with warranty validation.

https://shopee.sg/xiaomiofficial?categoryId=8&itemId=6747397979 and https://www.lazada.sg/shop/xiaomi?s...d.1.72741081WGbzZh&from=onesearch_brand_12960 are official online stores for Xiaomi Singapore. All of their products have EiN stickers on the packaging. Anyway Xiaomi stores is really confusing in Singapore here. Xiaomi is the main culprit and Lazada and Shopee are to blame as well.

EIN is the local distro and they also run operations for our local physical xiaomi retail stores. But apparently, the service center for warranty claims is outsourced to some other 3rd party. So EIN and the service center are entirely separate and different entities.

While no doubt the service center will recognize and honor warranty for authentic EIN local stock. it might be a different matter for stock from those so called "official stores" but shipped from overseas. Even though these sellers claim their stock can be serviced locally, i think it will ultimately be at the discretion of the service center. Yes, it confusing as fug but simply put buy EIN stock if you absolutely require local warranty.

the Shopee Xiaomi global official store is a China Xiaomi distributor or Xiaomi itself ?
