my auto rate don't seem to be working when I have apps turn on but it seems to work find on the android start screen. Any idea?

Getting warm is normal. But the question is how warm does your unit gets? For this type of cases and if you want us to check your Tab, you might need to leave it with us for a couple of days or so.

Yes, I would like to know that and the actual retail price too. At the website, it says out of stock... I hope it is as good as the 9.7 I have.
i was at Challenger IMM, I saw only the 7 ($199) and the 9.7 ($299). Are you sure it is the 8? which challenger?
Hi, not all apps are designed to support the 4 axis rotation. This will be depending on how the application was develop.
Hi, Jhyun is correct it is available at Challenger on the mentioned price. But during that time not all Challenger shops have this model. Now, mostly have.
Confirmed and verified, 1.5GHz Dual Core for Tab8.
Saw last week at IMM, had the Tab 8 brochure just besides it and it looked significantly smaller than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which was nearby.
Was at Clementi and they have it also near the counter where they sell GPS and tablets. Was besides the Tab 7.
Tried playing a 720p mkv from a USB OTG using the default media player and it worked fine, which is quite a nice surprise.
AC-Ryan, can you confirm if the Tab 8 can be charged thru the micro USB port? Was not able to try that yesterday at Clementi.

Firmware there might be one coming out but only for improvements. As the current Tab firmware do not have any major bugs.
