How to set the Date & Time on the Tablet?
Automatice date & time ( Use network-provided time ) or manual setting. My time always out of sync!

First set the proper time zone, Singapore should be +8 then adjust the time and date accordingly.

Hi, does AC Ryan tab 7 have hardware Gps built in? I'm thinking of using it as in car gps with Sygic.

Harvey Norman sale @ Singapore expo they selling this for $199 free HDMI and casing (if im not wrong...). Liked the display and the fact it can plug in USB direct. Was intending to buy already but decided to read the reviews here... seems like better to avoid?

what do u want to use the tablet for?

i only use the tab7 for tv shows and movies so i can live with the tab (nice display anyway)

if u wanna do gaming or web surfing etc i suggest u go Nexus 7. (the tab7 is not really very gd with multiple tab web browsing etc.)

I use it my tab more for web surfing and emails... Not much for videos unless i travel... and not really a gamer on mobile platforms... so i guess i should give it a miss! Thanks for your feedback!

That something is an ultrabook costing >$1K.

of course I don't mean nexus 7 is more crap than AR Tab 7.

that is using his inference that selling (AR Tab) cheap is crap, so free (Nexus) must be even more crap.

Any having same issue with the battery? My tab with power off (100% OFF, if someone want to ask again), battery drained by itself to 0%! WTF.....abt 2-3 days, not in use in OFF mode, can't even power up, need to plug in to charge!....how the hell can it drain its power so fast without even turning it on, not even on sleep mode!....I believed mine is not the only one, anyone else.....if this is a bloody MIC tab, I have nothing to say bcos those MIC tabs cost less than 150 tab, can easily run for 3 hrs max for video play.......but even it's power off, it doesn't drain off like my AC Tab.....really regret getting it!
Worst IT product that I purchased for 2012!!!!

How to Crete Folder on ExtSD

Hi,

I bought the AC Ryan Tab 7 and upgrded FW to 1.1.6. However I am stil lnot able to do any editing/creation of folders/files on the Extenal SD card. Can the AC Ryan pls help on this? Do you have any work around? It will not serve any purpose if the ext sd is not able to do any editing.

Folder creation and renaming of file and folder inside the external SD card can be done. Editing the body/content of a full text document is not possible to save to the external SD card, the only workaround is to to copy the text file to the player internal SD and do a body/content editing from there and saved it. Then copy or move to the external SD card.

To create a folder:

1. Go to file manager.
2. Go to the upper tab menu then select SD.
3. Press the Menu button.
4. A small window will pop up, select "New Directory".
5. Name the folder and select create.

To Rename a file/folder:

1. Go to file manager.
2. Go to the upper tab menu then select SD.
3. Select and hold a file/folder to rename.
4. A new window will pop up, select rename folder.
5. Name the folder and then select rename.
