Tab 7 - Bluetooth

Hi,

Is the bluetooth supported in Tab 7? I switch on the Bluetooth but unable to detect any device. Pls check.

Hi, the device originally does not support Bluetooth. Request came and the feature was added in the firmware. Please note that there is no built in Bluetooth in the Tab, you must connect an external Bluetooth adapter and at the same time you must make sure the latest firmware is installed in the device which is 4.0.4 20120723 T7 Version 1.1.6 for it to work.

Not worth to buy, may as well buy a cheaper MIC tab.......

I would rather get ac ryan than MIC.

at least i know there is some1 from ac ryan responding here & there is a service center in kaki bukit.

get 1 from MIC & u r on your own.

Hi, an OS upgrade is in plan but there is no assurance to it yet as the development have not started.

On our part, if we are talking about our TAB7 model VT97100 I can confirm that in our web site and flyers we did not mentioned that it comes with Jelly Bean.

Android 4.0.4 ICS
7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS panel
1GHz ARM processor
8GB capacity

I just bought the tab 9.7 today at sitex. I really like the responsiveness and bright crisp IPS screen. Right now (i.e. before loading apps and games) it is as good as my ipad. THe cameras are totally sub-standard but I wont be using that to take family photos! This is not the cheapest tablet (there's many china ones that are cheaper) but I do get a bit of comfort in the 1 yr warranty and local support.

BTW, ACR can you tell me what is the app in the demo set that can tell me the processor type? It is not in the purchased set.

Hi thanks for the support. The app is called "System Info Pro" please note that this is a free widget app, for it to work you need to add the widget to the main screen of your tab. Hope you can try it.
