Hello guys.

Currently my highest qualification is diploma in acc. Wanted to take up ACCA hoping to get CA ultimately. Wanted to not take up the exemptions of F1-F3 cus my foundation not very good and I pass my diploma by luck only. Anyone got any recommendations for me? Should I skip F1-F3 and maybe buy notes and self study? Will it be a waste of time if I take up F1-F3? Thanks guys. :D

Hi, any recommendations on the text books or video source for self study? Which school textbooks are better?

Thanks

Hi moohara,
I think BPP would be better than Kaplan's. BPP is ACCA's only approved provider that is given the platinum rating and to me, it is also generally more comprehensive than Kaplan's. SAA uses BPP texts for most of their papers as well.

You can also try out opentuition.com for free resources and practice papers.

Yes I was referring to him. As I said he offered a different perspective in some of the topics in P1 and P3 when he was in Kaplan but not sure how was his delivery when he switched over to LSBF

Thank you

If you sign up at SAA, you can take AP Chee for P1 and Philip Woo for P3. Please note that Philip Woo's notes are not very orderly so you must need to prepare some notes and do lots of readings.

If you do not mind taking different schools or tuition providers, Marty Wilde from FTMS global for P3 is most sort after
