And also, anyone know if Kaplan still hold their classes in Somerset? Cos I walked past once, and the office seems to have moved.

Kaplan office moved? Moved to POMO? Means if want to register for courses at Kaplan need to go down to POMO?
POMO is it at Dhoby Ghaut? near SOTA there?

Yes different papers can be done at different schools.

Remember it is the lecturer not the school that you go.

A suitable lecturer helps u achieve your goals smoothly, wrong lecturer then good luck - you will feel the paper is a mountain to climb!

All along I have opted in the Oxford Brookes bsc but earlier I login my acca, I no longer see any information on my opt in. Does anyone know what happens?

Did you try looking at your ACCA exam status report?
I remember there's a line there that states that.
Anyway, is it important to get this Oxford Bookes BSC when we only have 5 more modules to complete our ACCA?

Funny... All along there is this sentence stated you are opt into oxford brooks...
I only paid 81 pounds to acca. I have not received any payment notice from ISCA. This year they send us the payment notice late, around end of dec/start of Jan.

Besides that, the student services is really bad. I tried calling 4 times before my call gets through... and the line got cut off after my fourth call and my enquiries were not addressed.

I'm pretty frustrated about that. Are you really sure all the good lecturers are in LSBF only? Cos the customer service definitely turned me away from the school!

OBU Degree beneficial

It is actually good to take the ACCA tie-up, OBU degree for the following 2 big reasons.

1) It is recognized within Singapore. Local universities (NTU, SMU) recognize it in their admission process for a Masters Program. There are several ACCA graduates who got admitted due to their OBU degree.

2) It is dirt cheap. Throw in mentoring fees and the whole thing will at most go to $1,500. And when u find recognition for your degree, u realize u paid a very low price for an asset. Even if u don't use it, u can always remember it only costs $1,500.

I know of a good free-lance mentor and he can be contacted at obu_mentor@yahoo.com. I don't believe in going to the schools as they charge a higher price to cover their high rentals, worse still, some put u in classes and don't give personalized mentoring.

I agree - I faced the same!
Customer service is not so gg but we are going there to attend lecturer's class.
That is the key to passing the exams easily, not the customer service.
Its like selecting the best guide to help you navigate your journey, so dangerous/difficult/long winded journey or smooth journey depends on the guide.
Daily we will be in classes thankfully not facing customer service - thankfully!

just to check .. i heard for lsbf , some of the classes are held remotely for the popular lecturer.. is that true ? aniway one has comments on the new campus ?

I am taking F4/5 in kaplan this sem .. because I am not sure how lsbf class facilties is going to be like.. Kaplan's class facilities is reasonable.. clean classroom and enuff toilets.. Lecturers.. okay..
