received an edm from BPP@M2 that retakers can sign up with them for crazy low price. Thought it could benefit someone here.
f1-f4: S$100
f5-f9: S$120
p1-p7: S$150

all with gst already and also eligible for their pass assurance.
they call it "pay only once for each ACCA paper", so i believe retake until you pass for max 2 times??:s11:

Here's the t&c
- valid from 1-21 Aug
- max 2 papers
- show proof of failed papers (dec'14 and jun'15 sittings only)

i think they really outdone themselves this time. keeping it real by focusing on helping retakers to clear with just a cheap fee. :)

Wow so cheap! Are they good?

I took p2 exam in june too, and i thought i gg. The consol qn i did vvv badly, the deferred tax, some other notes i left blank, cos i didnt know how to do them. But for qn 3 n 4, i wrote n wrote n wrote, easy sentences explaining the standards n i managed to pass with 61 marks. So i think actually qn 3 n 4 will save u. Write more!

wow congrats :)

Haiz, I've been self-studying for all my ACCA papers so far. Left with P2 and 2 optional papers now. But it's getting really hard, especially P2.....

In fact, after much considerations, I've decided to skip this Sept cycle and focus on Dec cycle :(

that's really cheap! but does the rates apply to new students who has never study with them before....

I just dropped them an email. Guess I will sign up for their P2 class if it's really $150, especially since I have already failed P2 twice :'(

It says "Only applicable to new BPP@M2 Academy students." Meaning their current students confirm all pass ah? Heee...
How does this BPP@M2 works? Does we need be online at the specific class time?

it is a 100% online programme with a fixed curriculum for us to follow. login to your bpp student account and everything is guided, just study by steps. content inclusive focus sessions (live online), recorded video classes, course notes (can download and read), mini tests, progressive objective test for every step (this is a must to do). if got questions can ask lecturer also.
It also comes with online live revision classes (compulsory as part of curriculum) which happens one month prior to exam month. there is specific time, date to login and attend. The entire session(s) will also be recorded so if you cannot make it, can also view after. something like that lah.
Lecturers all ang mo from bpp uk.

This evening i bringing my friend to their info session. he failed many times already... :s8:

info session is at their campus. starts at 7pm. http://www.m2-academy.edu.sg/BPP-RSVP/
as for attending live online revision classes, it is in the evening. even if miss also can replay and view, but of course it is called 'live' for a reason, so that you can interactive and get instant reply.

I am planning to do p3 but I am not sure which sch shld I go to. Can anyone advise? At the same time I will be retaking my p1 probably taking up revision course for p1. Any good schools to recommend for p1 revision and p3 August intake classes ?

I took domnic's p3 in jan 15. Mmmm... actually i think its better if you buy textbooks n read them... becos for the exams, there are 50% qns that are not taught, they require creative answers and you can only provide these answers if you read extensively. I didnt study much for this paper, i just read articles every night becos i spent my day time studying my other 3 papers-p2, p4 n p6. Jus my 2cents though.:)

Hi miller12345, did you take Domnic's day or evening class? I find that he go quite fast sometimes when he can't finish the syllabus on time. You managed to pass all 4 papers?

Heya, mmmmm yes he went quite fast towards the end. And in the June exam, i ended up choosing the pricing option qn which wasnt covered in school... which is why i dont think school is impt for p3, reading widely is.

And yes, i passed all the 4 papers. :)

And i have printed n binded past yr exam papers for P2 and P3 to give away. I think i printed at least 10 sets of past exam papers for each subject. If you think you really need them, can drop me a message. Im happy to give away my p2 and p3 textbook n revision book too.

I took Dominic class for Jan but failed. I didn't take his textbook cause I don't read them. But after reading what you said, do you think I can loan it from you until my September sitting?

Hi Derric, good for you to take the sep exam. I cant go JB for the exam and I don't think I will pass too. Going to re-take the class again. Good luck!

Thanks. All the best too.

I have no patience to go through class again. Concepts are not hard to understand, but the examiner is just being an@l by setting questions from remote areas of the syllabus instead of having a focused set of major topics.
