are you from F4-C1?

no le i dont think he say LLP not examinable le...

F4 is a much easier paper compared to F6 definitely...

By the way i felt that Q1 in F6 is way too short for 27 marks compared to previous years... anyone has the same feelings?
or did i miss out anything?

f4 much easier?

ooo, he said LLP tested? then why i only recall he spend like 10 minutes on one page only? ok anyway, Q10 of F4, isnt it a bit weird, as the question is full 10 marks which deals with one concern only. pass year papers seems to deal with 2-3 concerns... plus that 1 concern is like... erm how to write enough info?

thats quite a lot to write for Q10 actually...
you have to discuss about the LLP having good features of a Co like those mentioned under Saloman vs Saloman, also the good features of a partnership.
since the qn mentioned that Ann is worried about liabilites, also discuss about issues that will lift corporate veil if she is fraudulent or negligent under case or statute.
Answers can be found in Lecture 8, 9 of Mr Kweh's notes:D

as for spending 10 mins for the lecture, he told us that LLP has features of a Co with outsiders and features of a partnership in internal management, just refer to Lecture 8 notes accordingly...

i only recalled this statement was in first part of qn 5...
i think u wont be wrong if u proceed with resident co calculation,
i have not seen a qn 1 with NR before lol

i am not that sure about that though.... according to the answer book, the amswer would only be pertaining to the concern. other factor will not be required. as such the corperate veil is the only concern and the partners in a normal partnership is joint and several. the last part which states that LLP is form of a Co to outsiders and partnership to internal, i doubt is of official standards... it is rather a personal opinion and inlayman terms...

how about f4?

F4 is solid 3 hrs of writing...
just know all the impt points in the subject and you will be fine as F4 has no way to twist in turn qns,
by the way i followed mr kweh from kaplan for this paper.

as for F2 and F3, they r manageable subjects,
you will get to enjoy the fun when u reach F6, F7:D
