Can anyone tell me? After graduated from ACCA, should I register as a member directly or remain as ACCA affiliate? I have the more than 3 years work experience in audit firm.

Is there any different of subscription fee for member and affiliate?
Is there any benefit to be a member compared to be affiliate?

If I haven't submit PER, can I register as a member?

Thanks a million.

u nid to complete PER and pay the sub fee in order to become ACCA affiliate.
i think register as ICAPS member is more than enough. very siong to maintain 2 membership IMO

post-acca work experience

Hi. I am kinda confused about the number of years of work experience needed to qualify for acca and icpas. For acca, it seems that 3 years of work experience is enough, but for icpas it seems to be 3 years of work experience after passing the acca final exam. Is my understanding correct?

Yes. Even work experience before taking ACCA can be counted towards 3 years required experience for ACCA to become a ACCA member.

However, to become CPA Singapore, the work experience must be accumulated after you pass the ACCA exams.

Of course, for the work experience to be valid, there are specific conditions to be fulfilled for each requirements. You can attend the PER talk for ACCA to know more about the requirements for ACCA and how to file the returns.

got some question to ask:

1: is it that i can only take at most 4 subject per exam?
2: do i have to finish all fundamental s before i can start professional?
3: do i have to do f7-9 together to qualify for BSc oxford brookes?
4: how much is the course fee for complete package of lessons, exams, Bsc cert and everything if i were to pass in 1 go? which school cheaper?

1. YES
2. YES, but you can take P paper with F paper in the same examination, provided you got no more other F papers.
3. Have to finish all fundamental papers and pass.
4. Course fee go website check, SAA, Kaplan, FTMS are the most common ones. Kaplan is the most expensive of all.

if got any wrong do correct me.

In taking F4, you should consider the structure of your answer. I think that will at least give you a pass. Other than that, you may also consider doing a lot of pass year questions so that you get used to the way examiner ask the question.

ACCA cancel of exam papers

Hi, as mentioned above. If i want to cancel a paper that i had already registered for June 10 papers,
1) when is the lastest date to cancel?
2) will they be full refund to me if i cancel it just before the test date?

Thx

I didnt self study but attend lessons. But one of the way I study is to read the revision kit, because the questions do repeat themselves.

Best way to study is to practice the questions from revision kit.
Now there is still time to study, don't be too ambitious and try to write out answers like the examiner's. BPP revision kit is quite useful as the answer provided by the lecturer is simple and easier to digest and understand.

Although I passed my F8, but its a struggle for me also.

Hope that helps.
