they are marked in singapore for singapore variant papers.

just that they are sent from sg to uk to be scanned.

That is new to me, I only know SG variant papers are "mod" by SG peeps.

So what about hers? Scanned and send to SG to be marked and send to UK to be scanned?

Noted, with thanks.

I will be enrolling at kaplan dued to work problems, more centralised for me in terms of venue also.

I also heard Yvonne is good. Hopefully, i can get to enrol in her class when registration starts.

F6.

the best lecturer is Yvonne.

very approachable + concise when it comes to explaining tax concepts.

if you enroll into SAA, avoid Goh Sher Wee...

simply the worst for me...

unless you like to find out why he rejected a SG$10,000 a month job when he was drawing SG$1,000 a month...

or you like to know that he claims his son is a piano teacher at 7?

or you like to find out why he decided not to be an MP for singapore...

oh one more, he also boost that he knows lee hsien loong...

(when my friend heard that, he commented, we all know LHL, the only problem is this... does LHL knows us?)

anyway, GSW claims Lee Hsien Loong is his msn friend...

so... if you like to know about all these, go for his lessons... highly interesting.

downside...

1. cannot ask questions, that guy is menopausing for years...

2. his notes is full of errors cause he wants to prevent circulation...

3. unless you are someone in the acct profession or you are some sweet young thing... don't expect him to be near polite...

in short.... that fat old man should be barred from teaching ACCA...

he fits the profile of SIM lecturers...

His P6 class are quite terrible i would say, but his F6 class and other tax class are fine.

I do not know if he also conducts his P6 evening class in such way.

But anyway, there are students who have also passed under his guidance.

But really.... most of the time are spend telling stories in the class... hahaha... can't believe it... its true... in P6 class.. the rest of his class are ok.

Yvonne is very good. Attended her class before. But sometimes she oversimplifies some of the tax concepts.

noted with thanks. I shall not choose him next year.

Note to public:

Similiary, do not choose james kwan

if you dont want to hear about his life at malboro as a budget accountant, about how tough his life was fifty times.

if you do not want to be told where you can be on your holiday, at orchard or at home reading his notes,

if you do want to have a blank stare left on your face when he flushes you with the final answers without the proper workings

if you do not want to hear about the countless students he evicted from his class with security guards and then flash a proud look on his face.

or if you do not want to hear about how hardworking we all need to be without actually getting INTO the main topic and questions.

or if you do not want your sympathy to be bought by him telling you how pathetic he is. Why he is not married, why education is first, why he may not be teaching anymore at SAA.

To hell with him.

This is just yr one-sided view. Others like me do hv a positive experience with him. U think James really got such free time to catch u in orchard mah?:look:

Actually i think u should pass F2 before attempting F5 since F2 are the fundamentals.

Goh Sher Wee, (GSW) digress like crazy in a 3.5 hours lesson... (don't think you are getting 0.5 hours of more teaching compared to kaplan... GSW just rant about his life for 45mins to 1.5hours... each lesson)

This is definitely something everyone who had experienced him, will agree with.

Everyone.
