Hi guys,

Was reading up this ACCA thread and want to ask something. Out of F4-F9, which paper would be heavy (Requires lots of practice)? Is it possible to take 3 papers in a June 14 sitting? :s22:

Last but not least, which Lec and school you guys recommend for F4-F9 papers?

the most annoying paper for me was f7

I took 4,7,8,9 in the last seating and cleared all so it should be possible

I don't think so.

I think ISCA is the professional body for accounting - but you don't have to join to get the CA title.
isca is actually Singapore's national accounting body, and saa is the education arm of isca.

I think you need to be isca member if you want to become a CA. the last time I asked them, they have several levels of membership.. associate, fellow and retirement member. In any case, it is good for you to call isca to check.

hi, the list of the lecturers you listed are all very good lecturers. Perhaps, just their teaching style is different. Some of those names you mention, I heard they are very strict, and if you are not diligent enuff in ur studies, you stand a chance to get scoldings. :)

which papers requires more practice it really depends on yourself.. some people are very strong in their calculations, but not so much on writing. Vice versa.

so, once you have identified your strength, you need to balance that up when you choose which papers combination to take per exam sitting.

I've studied at SAA and the consultants were very helpful in advicing me how I should strategize my paper combinations. The lecturers are fantastic too.. they'd go extra miles for us, conduct extra classes to make sure we are well prepared for exam. SAA has got lots of prize winners too! Maybe you can be one of the SAA prize winners too.. :)

Andy will still be with kaplan. He's teaching P5 next Jan :)

High chance AP Chee at LSBF for F8, P1 and P7. Schools mostly published Jan intake timetables, only AP Chee's name is missing lol

Hello Guys,

For P5 Roy Goh (LSBF) or Andy (Kaplan)?

Thanks. :s12:

Yes I'm exempted from 1 2 and 3 due to dip in accountancy from NP.

Wanted start with F4 but it clashes with my reservist.

Thank you! I register for classes already! I yet to register as ACCA member. Should I do it now or jan next year?

It depends on individual.

ACCA membership fee on annually. I not sure when is their cut off date but since you are taking exam next year? Then I think better for you to do it January onwards?
