Accommodation around QUT

Hey guys, I will be heading over to Brisbane in July, just wondering if there are any cheap accommodation around QUT? My budget will be anything under AU$180. Also anyone had any experience living at urbanest? Would love to hear some feedback

highly doubt u can get any near GP with that budget unless it's damn crappy conditions. sunnybank kg ascot maybe still can.

i've not lived there. but i've visted friends there before. it's a student hostel so yeah. firstly, u must pray for gd house mates. my fren had to tahan 2 hongkees who were dirty like trash. never clear the rubbish & leaving it in the kitchen. also never washed the plates & always leave it in the sink. urbanest location is very good as it's just a 5minute walk to qut. also located at south bank which has alot of stuffs to do.

urbanest washing machines & dryers are at the first floor so that's basically where u'll do all ur washing. other than that urbanest is really new. it was built like towards end 2010. do PM me if u need any more specific info.

Hey there, I have a spare room for rent in the suburb of Newmarket, which is just 10 minutes by bus to QUT kelvin grove. The room is going for AUD$180/week, all inclusive (rent, internet, utilities, internet).
