I would be bringing my parents to Taiwan from 11-17 Apr, which I would likely bring them to Fengjia Market.

Wondering if there is any recommended hotels or BNB that is next to the Fengjia market so that I can drop my shopping bags and continue the shopping spree? Of course my parents would be able to rest or continue their market shopping when as they wish. (I remember there was a BNB I stayed next to the University entrance but I lost the contact)

And if there is any recommended places to bring my parents to? I intend to bring them to Sun Moon Lake but that is all I have for Taichung.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the Kun Hotel recommendation. I have just booked it as recommended :)

For places around Taichung, is there anywhere you guys can recommend for elderly? Right now, I can only think of Sun Moon Lake and Fengjia Night Market.

From Taichung to Alishan is quite far right? Think if it is possible to head to Alishan in the morning to stay for a night before returning to Taipei.

Anyone tried Green Hotel before ?

I tried before last year. Though it is within a walking distance (about 10-15 mins) to Feng Jia Night Market, but if you are thinking of dropping your shopping before going out again then I wouldn't recommend it.

The staffs there are friendly and room is clean and spacious enough (had a wheelchair with me previously).

Taichung to Alishan, you will need to take HSR and transfer to a local bus up to the recreational area.
It will be better with 2 nights.
After that take the same route back to HSR and zoom zoom zoom back to Taipei.

Was at sun moon lake this morning.

Took local express bus from Taichung rail station. And paid for a boat ride round the lake.
