Accounting or Management?

I'm looking at SIM RMIT degree, but don't know if I should major in accounting, minor in management, or the other way round. I'm also open to minor in finance if major in accounting.

Really not sure of which one to apply for...

What are the other things I should further study after my degree if i major in accounting? Like ACCA etc?

I'm quite strong in poa and maths, but I don't think that's enough for me to pursue accounting? Cause poa is just one small part of accounting, i scared other aspects of accounting like taxation and auditing i cannot tank (heard from friends studying accounting in poly that its very stressful :/)

if you understand poa concepts, the advance stuff should not be a problem. no one expects you to do taxation on day one..relax its progressive and can learn quickly if u have strong poa foundation

I might be able to get up to 24 credits exemption from UQ for HRM.. Most of my friends advise me to go for HR in UQ instead.. Saying HR more in demand than acct, and acct is very competitive.

So now gonna wait for the unconditional offer reply from UQ and decide again..

I'm worried that I will not be able to cope in HRM, somemore so far away in UQ.. at least if cannot cope acct in SIM, waste less money?

I agree with them. And UQ has a much better reputation than RMIT. And it definitely helps that you are doing on campus.
