Project Aces Producer Kazutoki Kono at Jump Festa 2016 announced that Ace Combat 7 will be a sequel to Ace Combat 6.
Ace Combat 7 is coming with PlayStation VR features on the way as well!

I don't know I feel about this though... I mean Ace combat 04 and 5 were great but... assault horizon was just plain awful.
