on a sidenote, how will you guys install office on ur aspire one? by means of external cd-rom drive? or ish just use open-source?

Well, for me... its not that bad bcos its covered with a 1 year warranty rite?
I'll check at home and will call ACER Hotline if there are any hardware failures...

Hopefully ACER'S laptop quality is up to standard...
I heard this time round ACER did a good job on the Aspire One...

7 days from your line activation date, or 10th Sept, whichever is later.

Went to collect mine today at lunch time .

Dont need to queue as there is not much people.

I recontracted on the 2nd day of IT fair.

My letter states that earliest collection date is 10 sep.

gotten mine already, using it to type this now

only queue up for 10 mins before my turn to collect, hassle-free & orderly collection done by Acer themselves..

btw, there also gotch notice that says from today till 16th only collection can be done for those initially eligible to collect from these dates nia

using Aspire One to post now. Went there around 10.50am. Collected my set at around 11.10am quite fast. They have this UPGRADE options too. Such as Extra 6 cell batt @ $107 if i remember correctly and etccccc...

yah, got mine.. but nearly missed out on the vouchers.. because when you received the modem in the singnet paper bag, the vouchers, enclosed in a white envelope is actually stapled to the inside of the paper bag!

i myself nearly threw away the paper bag without realising that

just redeemed mine today.. ya, ACER did a good job on redemption as it is done in orderly manner.. anyone bought the white-brown bag at $30? tot it looks awful ... like for women use only.
