Acer notebook only charges from certain home sockets

I have an Acer notebook (bought in 2016 from USA) which in recent times only charges from certain sockets in my house. Have doubled that the sockets are all working with other home appliances. Is there any reason or solution for this? Thanks.

Is your charger using 2 pin us plug and you connect it with adaptor?

Can try to buy the cable with uk plug directly. Search for c5 or c7 cable from lazada.

Mine is actually 3 pin with rounded pin at the top and 2 slanted pin below. yes I have to use adaptor. Funny thing is that only in recent times than this became a problem before that all was okay.
