Which brand is better? Thought of getting one for home use and video watching. No gaming purpose.

Their specs look similar to me but then which brand is more trustworthy?

I also looking to replace my wifi dongle TL-WN722N, can recommend a replacement to me?

Is it necessary to get a huge dongle like this model with antenna? I saw some really small one not sure if they are good.

I'd go for the Dell, but make sure it uses standard parts. I know some of them don't.

Asking a forum which prefer and support DIY for OEM PC choice lol

Any brand is the same. Whoever can provide longer onsite warranty for free shall be the best choice. No one brand is better than the other for big name brands as all their parts are OEM made.

If your home isn't dusty, can consider AIO type of PC.

For the wifi dongle, getting those with Antenna will provide stronger and more stable signal. Those small ones are functional and that's about it. Coverage distance will never be as good as those with antenna. Consider getting internal ones like TP Link Archer T6E.

They are all the same.. Depends on luck one...

So get the one that offers the best warranty, this could mean longer warranty period or on-site service

I may give you some advice about wifi.
I have the intel ac9260 pcie card installed in my system to replace my usb dongle.

Most people would think that it's an upgrade to the usb wifi dongle. But that isn't always the case.

In a scenario which the casing is on the ground leaning towards a wall, chances are the reception will be a lot worse than a 30-50$ usb wifi dongle which position can be adjusted through usb extension cable.

For USB wifi dongle i recommend tp link archer t4u v3. Used this for a friend rig awhile back, got it for $32.

If using hardware acceleration, you may encounter playback issues when you exceed your graphics card memory capacity bah

Shouldn't. I can play 2 1080p HD YouTube streams at the same time with 2GB ram on a Nvidia Ion.

For USB Wifi adapter I also recommend TP-Link, relatively cheap yet good enough. I used a few TL-W722N (N150) and one TL-W821N (N300) for my old desktops last time. Now I am using Archer T9UH (AC1900) for my only old desktop and it is pretty good. I got it from Challenger for S$69. It comes with the small USB extension dock. And I am still using the W821N for my old laptop.

I will think Dell seems to be a more respectable brand. But I would go for the cheaper ones here. I bought an Acer Swift 3 (8th gen 8250u ) for my wife end of last year and it seems to be pretty good. The 256GB SSD is the only thing I was a bit concerned but it was cheap at S$998 and it got two year warranty. If Apple updates the MAC Mini I would go for it for home use but Apple has not updated it since 2014...
