Wondering anyone has the similar problem?

Bought a X34 but screen starts flickering once overclock to 100hz, both with gsync on and off.

Bought during IT show, salesman said 100hz, didn't highlight it was UP TO 100hz.

Tried to RMA but Acer told me that their manual put up to 100hz so unable to rma :s22:

GTX970 G1 SLI with 4790K.

Yup, many reviewing website did state that they can't get 100hz too (most can get 90-95hz).

The monitor can overclock up to 100hz but standard is 60. If your monitor have issue getting 60 maybe got case.

What's the max refresh rate you could get?

Acer never guaranteed you that it will work at 100Hz, hence unfortunately Acer is well within their rights to deny you an RMA.

@moodless

90Hz. Didnt even intend to buy the monitor until i saw it in person, thus didnt read the reviews on this.

@wacko

Yea, as i bought it from their reseller. Sadly its a painful lesson for me.

Although its just 10Hz, but i expect a $1,500 monitor to do better than up to.

Hopefully my post can highlight to those who are unaware of the issues and are also intending to buy it.

i had no issues with 100fps... i must say it has to do with the game itself as well.. when playing witcher 3 i had flickering at the menu. other games i am fine...

but tbh.. any rate > 60hz i can not tell... what i want is the smoothness and tear free.

That shouldn't be happening. Using Z35 which is curved as well and no such problem at all after a few years.
