This 11.6 inch is going really cheap now at sls, just under $500 with a upgrade of to 4gb ram maybe an additonal $50?

Any users review here ? its review on the web doesn't seems that good ....

the i5 duo core doesn't seems to be the lastest but if its for general MS office works i think still can do a job ?

Secondary, I am planning to use it to process some pics (not using ps) ... wonder how it would hold up.

Thanks for any replies

i5-33x7U can handle photoshop but the only problem V5 doesn't have a dedicated graphics card so don't expect fast rendering/processing and zero lag performance.

Yup the core i5 model should be retailing at $799.
I am using the intel celeron 1007u model which retails at $549

They have rebranded the aspire one 756 into the v5 now.
