Acer has a bad reputation of mobo problems. Aftershock seems to do better.

you cant just compare 2 products based on spec alone. It's quite established that 2 machines with the same spec can vary wildly in pricing due to factors like branding or other features

in some cases the cheaper option may not be better too. For example some older Asus Strix laptops that are cheaper than their main line ROG stuff while technically having same CPU/GPU, but the build quality is less, and the cooling system is less adept to handle thermals.

but just like fan noise, heat is a very subjective thing and gaming machines by default are already hotter than average. 70-80+ celsius is the operating norm for many such machines

I am using MX15, and Aftershock also compensate the delay of order by giving free upgrades. I think its a good deal le. really should consider
