Hi guys! please recommend me a clinic that removes acne scars permanently. preferably affordable, reliable and effective.

for those who have done it before i have a few questions.

does the treatment remove your acne scars permanently?

do your pimples break out again on regular basis after the treatment?

I go to TCS Skin Clinic @ Central. They are relatively good. Subsided my whole red and boiling face within 1.5mth on their regime.

As for the acne scars, usually they will recommend laser. It is reliable and effective for my case as the scar aint that visible as compared. As for the affordability, bout $2k

Went to TSC before too. 1 session around $600 iirc, unless you sign a package, excluding consultation and products. Depending on the severity of the scars, any pitted/boxed scars? Or just superficial marks? The former will not heal completely, regardless of what you do, and a 20-30% improvement is considered good in my opinion after a few sessions, not one. For more severe cases, you may even need subcision. Also bear in mind the downtime. You wouldn't dare to step out of the house before you heal completely.

And please only opt for laser after your face is cleared aka no more breakouts, or you will only be wasting your money. Laser only help with scars, not with breakouts. Get advice from the doctor.

I use a tea tree soap from my derma (different oil from the ones in The Body Shop). I also have erythromycin cream (with something else) as a spot corrector. It works wonders!

Not so sure about the last statement - my wife had breakouts and went to Gangnam Laser Clinic. They did the carbon laser treatment and it cleared the acne problem after a few sessions. Her friends also gave the same treatment that they renewed packages there. The pricing is very similar to the normal laser facial too

Perhaps there's a combination of other treatments and products? The doctor should resolve the ongoing acne problem before CO2 laser, which is used for scar treatment. Different lasers for different purposes.

talking of acne i had a mini outbreak lately. Used the products from gangnam laser clinic and it seems to give good results. They have an acne cleanser which i found to be effective

Actually the wife started using first and i just use hers!

Tea tree oil - can also buy the pure version from guardian under the brand Thursday plantation near the badages .. Worked wonders for me

There are two types of scars (1) flat red type (2) holes . I have (1) .. Using a sunscreen helped reduce the redness .. Also sk2 essence helped me calm down the skin ... But both are effective only when I use (2) my colleague has deep holes and went for laser and it seems to help a bit... But I think very hard to be perfect

Agree with TTO. Works for me too. In fact some of the products that i use from gangnam laser clinic contains this too and maybe this is why i find it so effective
