Thanks buddy
Sorry old uncle here
Real pc beginner
Thanks
Don't worry. Just inform Nigel of your budget, needs (usage) and wants (the i5 8GB RAM). He can advise and do for you accordingly.
Better than you kena shortchanged by **** shops or Fuwell selling you their slow moving parts in their "bundle package" deals.
I don't think WoW can run with Intel UHD Graphics as I checked with Game Debate. The experience is not favourable. After seeing NVIDIA RTX 20 series launch, I suggest you can proceed to buy the GTX 10 series instead of waiting, but up to you lar.Nice, I see other questions here which is great.
Just wanted to check if it is possible to play say WoW with no graphics card, i.e. using the CPU's first. I do not expect to play at high resolution, just low/medium is ok for me.
Reason is to wait for the 11 series to be launched while I could start using the PC.
Thanks.

I have started WoW with a 5 years old non-gaming laptop. Perhaps the laptop has an Nvidia GO card, but I have no clue how this stacks up against the integrated Intel Graphics. If the laptop is still inferior, I have no issue.Though I have not reached the crowded area yet and am still leveling in less densely populated zones.
Ikigai, what exactly is this 'particle effect'? Can it be disabled?
I do not intend to get the RTX 20 series, but I am only hopeful that the 10 series will drop price after the sale of the RTX 20 series next month. But there is no indication of reduction in price, I may just proceed to getting one of the 10 series card. What best suits a $600 budget for GPU with the PC set up above?
