Ppl are xenophobic cuz fts are not integrating and assimilating with locals. But instead they are bringing their culture here. Now it’s the other way round, locals have to accept their culture.

Fts are not creating jobs for locals here. Instead they are fighting for jobs with locals here.

fts are not boosting tfr here. They will grow old and then further burden our healthcare here in future

immigration does not come with automatic rights citizens get
If we don’t convert pass holders to PR and PR to citizens burden on state is minimised
foreigners recieve no benefits from the state whatsoever
immigration policies can be calibrated to maximise the outcomes we want

Unfortunately the often cited root problems can't be fixed without involving large amounts of monies.

Housing, inflation & cost of living, and perhaps high pressure education systems..

Hopefully the pertinent task force goes all in, half way measures will not cut, and not just lip service / optics.
