Adding additional hdd

Just bought 3tb Seagate and i realised i didnt have the appropriate cables for it. Went to sls and saw the cable similar to the ones im currently using. Got home and i realised it is slightly different. I believe its using a fan header for power? Did I **** up? Wanted to yolo and connect and see what happens but i think its better to ask the sifu here first. Tenkiu...

Sata. Even for power your psu got label also. It's a L shaped plug you can't miss it.

That's a SATA power connector. You can use this. That's why it's there on the power cable.

I think that white color part is the floppy power plug though.

i've got sata power cable that can connect to 2 HDD, its fine dont worry. i use it to power my HDD and SSD

1 SATA connector cable and 1 power cable, the power cable usually is multiple connector 1..

ah power cable, there are some even can connect up to 4 to 6 hdd, but those are high watts. and I though u mean like 1 Sata power port connect 2 hdd, which is kinda impossible since u only have 1 port.

What he meant was connect two HDDs using two SATA power connecters on one SATA power cable.

Which cable you are still looking for? The sata power connector you still have spare right? Sata cable look inside your motherboard box.
