Address on IC

I would like to change the address on my IC to my mother's HDB address.

I am living overseas and the address on my IC is my overseas address - I will be moving about leading nomadic lifestyle.

I co-own the HDB flat with my mother. Is it ok to do so? What are my options if not?

Who can I ask? Thanks.

To net it out, what you describe should be fine.

There’s one possible, practical consideration I can think of. If you’re currently a long-term overseas resident and enjoying a MediShield Life premium waiver, that waiver will end if you reestablish official residence in Singapore, even if you are nomadic. You will also “reset” that 5 year overseas clock. (That waiver is only available once you clock at least 5 years overseas.)

No. If your co-owned HDB unit is genuinely the closest you have to a residence, and if you can reliably receive mail there, that'll work fine.
