ARGB sync (Addressable RGB)

Hi All,

I recently built a new PC and have addressable RGB on the motherboard, RAM, GPU, water cooler fans, casing fans all controlled by the Aorus software.

I also bought the Razer huntsman elite keyboard, Razer basilisk ultimate mouse, Razer Goliathus Chroma and the Lian Li PC-011 Razer edition casing that are controlled by the Razer software.

I’m looking for a way to sync up both platforms. Right now the only way I can do it is to manually reset the Aorus lights when I see the Razer stuff turn red then everything is in sync but after sometime the sync is lost. Oh I set the lights to cycle through all the colours. Is there any software that can interface both so that this can be done?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Aorus doesn't seem to be supported by Chroma. As such, i don't believe there is a workaround for this.

Thanks for the info. From my research there is an open source project trying to address this but Gigabyte’s logo has yet to hit the list.

Hey guys,

Quick question,... What are the quietest ARGB fans available? I installed the Aorus liquid cooler 360 and a 3 fan setup by cooler master but I feel that the fan noise it too loud. Any recommendations on Aura sync replacement fans?

From what I can see Noctua are some of the best but does not look like they have ARGB.

I picked up 6 x Corsair SP120's and have them installed now,.. the RGB sync is all over the shop but that aside the biggest problem is the fan noise!

Can someone advise on what are the best RGB fans out there in terms of lowest noise?

Wah, can you take a video of your rig and also post the pictures?

Your specs is super good.

So jelly.

Lowest noise is tough. I use LL140 at 45%

I posted up some pictures a few weeks back but I'm now playing with the RGB fans and adding/replacing some to try and bring the noise level down. I added 3 more at the base to exhaust to the floor along with the side exhaust. The top sucks in air at the moment. Pictures are in this thread: -

Bottom 3 and top 3 fans are Corsair SP120's controlled by the Corsair Commander Pro via iCUE and the side 3 are mounted on the CPU water cooler heatsink controlled by Gigabyte's RGB Fusion 2.0. Keyboard, Mouse, Razer casing and the extended Razer mat are controlled by Razer Synapse. Updated image of what I have now below: -

There are still some issues I have yet to fix which are: -
1. Figure out why the 3rd light mounted top back is not glowing correctly - Decided to remove the 3 top SP120's and put back my Cooler Master fans that directly connect to the motherboard for now - testing all the different software integration and will most likely stick to a single colour so not a major problem.
2. Casing LED's are mixed up - suspect the ribbon at the back connecting the front strip is misaligned. This is the biggest complaint I have about this casing - every time I open the case that ribbon gets pulled out (Lian Li add some slack so that the cable isn't soo damn tight!) - Fixed! the ribbon got mangled at the tip so I had to use a sharp pair of scissors to trim the ribbon a little and now its working as expected :)
3. Considering to test out 3 x Corsair QL120 RGB next to compare noise levels. If they are dramatically better then will change out the rest of the fans to match!

Hmmm. Personally I would have the 3 at the bottom as intake, 3 top as exhaust and mount the AIO on the side as intake.

I use a 280mm AIO on front intake and my temps on the 3950x are great.

I currently have the bottom 3 fans configured as intake, the top 3 as exhaust and my AIO is mounted on the side as intake sucking air through the radiator from the side - so what your suggesting is exactly how its configured right now.

My next plan is to get hold of 6 x QL120's and replace the top and bottom fans in an attempt to reduce the noise. I am also planning to make some custom cabling (once SL Tower reopens) and re-do all the cable management.

Longer term goal will be to look into custom water cooling in a few months.

Ah ok. The pic shows top intake and bottom exhaust and side exhaust so I thought that was your current config

Hi bro may i know it take you how days or months for you to clean the dust in the case any advise.

The quick answer to that is none as everything you see here is new.

I would recommend to get hold of a case with good magnetic filters on ALL air vents like what is on this case (Lian Li PC-011 Razer edition) to minimize dust suction into the case. Ultimately it will not stop dust from getting in but will last you a much longer time before having to clean up!

In order to clean up dust the only real way of doing this well is to disassemble everything and wipe with a damp cloth. For fan blades I usually use a little dish-washing liquid on a damp cloth and then finish off by wiping it all off (may need to use a little more water so be mindful of electronic components). Its tedious to do but should not take more than 1/2 a day to refresh your components. IF you do not have a good case that has the filters I would recommend getting one and when you do the cleanup mount everything into the new case :)

My bad,.. you are right its the opposite way around. I will make the changes once I manage to get hold of the QL120's as they look a lot nice from the rear view. These SP120's are not great so need to go!

Upgraded the fans to Corsair QL120’s - looks a lot better now but the noise level is still a bit on the high side.

Will look into custom water cooling in a few months and get rid of the 3 fans on the radiator near the front when the upgrade happens :)
