in singapore gov eyes .. so long work .. means need to pay cpf .. unless contract is stated as self employed .. then can declare lesser .. but that said .. also need to pay for income tax ...

but for this case .. its even more tricky cause overseas ... maybe work dont even have a proper employment contract .. the fella go mom/cpf complaint also no use .. cause something happen overseas.
