Adhesive pads and VRM heatsinks

Which shops in SLS sell such stuff and how much do they cost? The adhesive pads and the heatsinks.

I tried look thru SLT and SLS before, cant find any shops which sell.

But, you can find Gary AKA Uvinium at blue forums. He is selling some alu heatsinks, though you have to go to his hse at AMK to see see look look. I did bought loads of copper heatsinks from him along with roy previously.

What size for the heatsinks usually needed?

I've the 3M adhesive pads coming in but donno what size for the heatsinks to bring in.

I have a piece like this:






Think it is made of aluminium with gold paint. 1.3cm x 6cm. Figure this should be ok? I pulled it off some old mobo. Problem is with attaching it to the VRMs.

If you are referring to VRMs for GPU, those types may not be able to cool off easily. Might need a low profile but larger surface.

Mine is way smaller than that.

Actually, it is for the mobo, not the GPU. This piece is too tall for GPU use anyway.

Ah then should be fine. I think it should be alu? Cause from the pic i see it has the alu texture.

Might wanna get Copper instead. If you want, can get it from gary uvinium (energizer) at his amk house.

He has all kinds of shapes and sizes and also thermal pads that he has. But his thermal pads are a bit oily.
