Adobe Ps, Lr or Elements 13?

Hi all, need some help for those who have experience with any of Adobe's Photoshop, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements 13.

Recently I bought a new RMBP as my old mid 2010 MBP suddenly died from HDD failure and don't have a chance to do any backup. As I'm a photography hobbyist, I previously used Aperture to do all my photo editing until now, I do not have anymore photo-editing software and Aperture has already been discontinued by Apple.

I'm not looking at either one of the above mentioned software's but noticed that the Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC required a monthly subscription starting from S$13 per mth whereas Elements 13 costs S$130+.

So anyone here could advise me which is the better software or any other alternative good photo-editing software? I don't mind paying some for the software as I do quite a bit of photo-editing.

Personally, I migrated to Lightroom.

Thanks! I thought of Lightroom too but not sure if Photoshop CC would be overkill. If either one, I'll still have to pay the S$13 monthly subscription.
