ads keep popping up in hardwarezone

I have tried switching to default app as well. Also infected.

Infection won't appear immediately upon visiting HWZ. Time delay of roughly 10-20 minutes.

Wah I noticed when I using the default app, below the screen, there's the "rewards" banner below vs no reward banner when I'm using the chrome

I also had the ads popping up, on my Android phone with Chrome browser. Cleared my cache once, but the popups returned. I cleared the cache again later, and the popups stopped.

I noticed that the popups also appeared when I visited Channel Newsasia website. But no such popups appeared when I visited foreign websites, namely The Guardian and BBC.

Then I cleared my cache a second time, and no problem since.
