Asking for more info nia.
My brother just finished A levels.
He did PCME, scored AAAB.
He wants to do medicine and he applied into NTU and NUS. This was when the application opened.
He got no reply from NUS. Called them and they said there's a high chance he got rejected.
He called NTU and they told him, his on their waitlist.
He told me he heard from friends, NTU has a 'short-list' and 'wait-list'
Chances for wait-list super slim.
If that's so, can he try again next year and the year after next ? Since he would be doing his NS anyway. He could forgo any course offer this year and try for next 2 years.
His about to give up and just jump onto any course NUS/NTU is giving him. I don't think it's beneficial for him in the long-term if he enters something he dislikes.
