Advice Coventry university (Electrical) Engineering

Would like to have advice or shared experience in Coventry Univeristy Electrical Engineering offered by PSB- Part time.

Understand is a 2 years course.
Lesson are from 7-10pm and sometimes full day on a Saturdays.
How are the lessons structured? Are lecturers helpful?
As I seen some negative reviews; and am pretty worried. As after all we all forking out money; to make worth our future.
How about exam format? Are lectures permitted to go thru past year papers? As I know SIT teaches ABC and test 123 without much solution and practice to past year papers.

I only know that it is not recognized by PEB to become a Professional Engineer & EMA to become an Electrical Engineer. In short, it is useless compare to Nitec & Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical.

Oh my useless? So that means even private companies would not recognize the certificate?

Why not go for unisim electrical engineering degree? That's more recognized and has govt subsidies

I only know UniSIM have BEng Electronics. Since when UniSIM have unisim electrical engineering degree?

Something like that. The market rather employed Polytechnic Diploma graduate to do works like calculate load & design layout follow by getting a freelance PE to sign on it. The market also rather employed foreign Degree graduates & groom them to become a PE or foreign Workers to do labor work like Installer.

Those who recruit this type of certificate from PEI don't really see recognition because they don't needs you to become LEW, PE & etc are jobs like Security/CCTV Project Engineer that don't really do electrical work but related to it.

Thanks for the advice! as I am currently working as an assistant project engineer I thought of upgrading my pay with a degree. As the scope is similar but significantly lesser. But I guess I have to think long term, in case I switch company etc...

I thought ACMV are better known in Singapore then HVAC? What kind of specialist cert do you mean? code trade courses from BCA?
