Appreciate all your comments for my below new chosen parts for an above average gaming rig to replace the existing old rig, old specs in my signature:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
MB: MSI B150M Mortar <-- This board has M.2 but did not say is it x4 Speed like Gigabyte B150M-D3H? Asus B150 Pro Gaming is only M.2 x2 speed.
RAM: Cosair LPX 2400MHz 2x8GB <-- Why everyone going for G.Skill?
GPU: Palit GTX970 Jetstream 4GB GDDR5 (will not consider Asus GTX970 Turbo 4GB GDDR5)

SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB
HDD: HGST NAS 7200rpm 6TB x 4

PSU: Corsair CX750M 750W Bronze
CASE: Corsair 100R or 200R Window <-- What's the diff btw 100R or 200R?

Reuse my old DVDROM
Reuse my old Monitor

Thank you.

Nice sneaky move of putting ur pricing in ur right profile, which i believe its for sale?

In any case, there are promo for some items... Can go for that.

I think he's merely stating the cost of his rig back in 2013. :o

The only stuff that is worth it to change is your graphic card and maybe casing too.

Yes, I will be selling my 2013 rig with 0.5 yr warranty left to fund my new rig as what I did for my past 4 rigs, too bad they do not archive threads for that long.

So do look out for my WTS post in IT garage next week if you are interested in my old rig.

Before that, can some expert help to answer my queries in the first post?

Thank you.

Do not go for the Asus GTX970 turbo. It's just a simple piece of heatsink with a fan blowing at it.

Ok thanks for the warning, but do you have any other recommendations because I heard the Palit GTX970 Jetstream 4GB GDDR5 that I target is very popular and always out of stock...
