Hi roy im looking to build an entry level rig for my friend

I need some help with recommendations on some of the entry level parts

CPU: G3258
Mobo: ?
Ram: GSkill 2*4GB
Case: Bitfenix Prodigy (either MATX or MITX)
GPU: GTX 750 Ti
CPU Cooler: (Pref Air) but maybe H60 is ok too
PSU: Superflower? Seasonic? (Need full modular nevermind wattage and 80 plus unimportant)

Usage is LOL and other light to moderate gaming

hi bro he'll be playing mostly LOL at 1080p so g3258 at high clocks will be better for most games

except crysis and bf4 which benefit from extra cores and threads

regardless i dont think he'll be throwing ultra at most high plus after 60fps no difference

You can see the benchmarks here a more thorough review

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/pentium-g3258-overclocking-performance,review-32974.html

In most casual games it holds its own against the 4790k and 4690k even so more than sufficient to make its pricetag worthwhile

Budget?

If you need to oc a mobo can go for b85 g43 gaming with heatsink over.

If not going to oc go for Asus h81 or ASRock h81m HDS.

As for cooler, the air cooler should suffice. The Pentium ae isn't very hot to begin with. At oc 4.2ghz stock cooler can do at 81deg or less.

For PSU, for fully modular you can go for seasonic x series or corsair rm series.

pricetag worthwhile... hmm...
i3 stock HSF with H81m mobo
or
g3258 additional cost for cooling(e.g. H60), high-end mobo for stable higher OC speed...

Matx ok, go for gigabyte b85m d3h. One of the best matx board to oc. Check does the bios support oc.

As for PSU, very little low powered PSU is fully modular. Semi modular yes.

Semi modular superflower hx500 will do.

If die die want fully modular then I would say you got to go for seasonic fanless x series which cause quite a lot.

All in all should not be 1k.

And no you do not need a good cooler. Barely heated up.

well on most games except those that use multi-threads or cores (eg. only bf4 and crysis) the g3258 would beat the i3

all mobos oc pretty much the same though i have to admit even my maximus formula

Available both itx and matx @$141 from Mynextcom. But the matx uses a inverted layout.

If you are open to other cases, can take a look at Aerocool Dead Silence matx.

Only slightly bigger than the Prodidy from what I can tell, but uses a horizontal layout. SLS sells them for $109, only black though.
