Advice for my PC upgrade

Looking for advice on upgrading my PC to last for the next 3-4 years.
I want to play games like Warhammer Total War III, Mount & Blade II Bannerlord.

Seasonic M12II-650 Bronze
Msi h81m-e35 v2 (ms-7817)
Intel i5-4440 3.10GHz
2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
2x 4GB G.Skill DDR3 1600Mhz
34 Inch Monitor

Time for a new PC. Only the monitor can be salvaged from the above list.

Get the 12gen cpu and mobo. Like me planning to but air cooler is hard to find at sls pricelist. Unless you going aio cooler but I don’t want take the hassle risk. Casing is also hard to find for me due to me using fredde gaming desk. The bottom shelf height dimension too low.

Really need to buy from online but I prefer local retail store.

Should mention your budget also. Theres new CPU and GPU gens coming out near the end of this year but not sure if you want to wait to future proof your set up more.

Thanks for the replies! My budget is around 1.5-2k.

My current system is still working. I guess I'll wait till the end of the year before getting a new pc.

Why not get another 2x4gb ram to increase your memory to 16gb for better gaming performance until you
fully upgrade your computer. It's not expensive to retire together with your current system.
