Advice for new gaming PC

Hi guys,

have been following the posts here and looking at recommended builds. Finally decided to take the plunge and get my rig this weekend.

I've adapted my build from the various recommendations, can anyone advise if i can improve on anything? I want to be able to play any game that will be released in 2014 @1080p on Ultra (if cannot then high). Budget S$1600, no need monitor and peripherals.

Other than advice on my parts, I have a few questions too:

1. Some have mentioned the ASRock B85 Killer has been out of stock, is this still the case? I suppose the next best is MSI B85-G43 Gaming?
2. Will the PSU supply sufficient power or need a higher-rated one? I am asking because eXtreme Outer Vision - eXtreme tools for computer enthusiasts says I need 668W and the Sapphire website system requirements page says the 290 needs 750W. I probably won't try to OC the GPU at the outset but may do so at some point...
3. On the case, I am ok with either of the above designs but haven't read any review of the Spec-02. Anyone has experience?
4. Read that I should make sure the shop collates all the parts before paying - are all the boxes meant to be sealed? Which components will have their boxes unsealed/resealed?
5. I will buy from TP then assemble at gs' shop (#02-32?), above build is nothing extraordinary right? Will be my first DIY rig but I have watched a couple of DIY videos and I hope that is enough!

They are of the same board. They have certain things that each other have and dont.

Other than that you can look at the rma locations. Msi - corbell at amk, and asrock - asview at kallang/lavendar.

Psu 600w is more than enough. Whatever the webby states is to cover their own asses. Just in case people buy those low end psu such as icute psu lol.

Most of the things are left unsealed

Ram no seal
Hdd sealed
Ssd some sealed some not
Gpu broken sealed only palit is sealed
Psu no seal
Chassis sealed
Dvd drive no package only certain brand
Windows OS sealed
Monitor sealed

Yes, must ask them check stock 1st. When I bought mine couple months back, TP took my money then only tell me GSkill RJX no stock, I no choice had to swap brand. Also my gfx card, initially they say have stock, but when I asked to see, they search high and low eventually got it from other shop and say cannot drop price. I kena the RAM thing cos I didn't expect that one also can no stock.

1 more thing, I got them install my for me but their cabling is done poorly. I took out everything when go home and rearrange myself again. The same guy was fixing someone else's PC before me and he actually blew the PSU, loud sound and shocked everyone in shop. I must be blur to let him fix my PC after that.

Thanks for the useful advice. But aside from Sapphire website, Outervision PSUengine states 668W. Is that peak or minimum ah?

As an aside, saw another build you posted, $200 more can overclock. I'm trying to convince myself now that it will be redundant for me...

I guess even if they don't play the out of stock trick, they may not be very conscientious with the building. So I decided to wing it and DIY (first time, hope I dont't regret!).

If goldenflower 600W out of stock it is okay to get FSP GOLD 600w or seasonic G650?
