Hi, expert

Your advice needed, thanks in adv.

for normal usage, surfing and office app, etc. no gaming

I am looking for this or other made

V3-575G-52GE
Intel Core i5-6200U Dual-core 2.30 GHz
39.6 cm (15.6") Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9
NVIDIA GeForce 940M with 2 GB Dedicated Memory
8 GB, DDR3L SDRAM
1 TB HDD

Is the Acer labtop reliable? Durable?

Hey hk7310 Happy New Year :)

How's the price like?
Definitely no problems with your activities listed above.

If I had to choose, I would not get an Acer cause of certain experiences I had with them in the past..

However having said that, a large part of reliability and durability depends on the things you do on the laptop - i.e. if it's mainly office, web browsing and video watching, it should last.

Courts quoted me $1098 with 2 years warranty.

What are your advice?

Hello!

Price is reasonable for its specs - there's two years of warranty too so that's nice..

For the price quoted, there should be plenty of options hmm
You can probably take a look at other makes such as Asus - which are mostly aluminium build as opposed to Acer's plastic build - better quality and a more reliable brand for the same $.

Cheers.

Many thanks.

I did compare the price in term of spec, Asus is way higher than Acer.

Hello!

Yeah..
Hmm, but if you don't game and just use office suites, the Acer should last. :)

Cheers

In the end bought a Dell 15 5000 i7-6500u @$750. Thank you for your advice.

Edit: Sorry, it is Dell Inspiron 14 5000, not "15"

That's a good deal!
Enjoy your new laptop! :)

Advice needed

Hi guys, sorry not too sure if this is the right place to ask this.

Any recommendations for lightweight model than 1.8kg? Budget around less than $1k if possible.

At least i-5 processor, no need dedicated graphics card.

Thanks!
